This is a business review article from the International Franchise Association, which gives our readers the opportunity to learn more about the many ways that franchising has helped or hindered the industry.
We’re going to kick off with a review of the many ways that franchising has helped the industry.
One of the most common complaints that new franchisees have is that their products are too expensive. In fact, if you’re one of the first new franchisees to open, that’s almost always the case. But it’s also true that as franchisors learn to work with the new generation of owners and grow the business with them, they naturally become more cost-competitive.
One franchisee I know has become a master of the art of franchising. He is the man who has been the most successful franchiser of all. He has made hundreds of millions of dollars by selling franchises without having to pay franchise fees. He built a successful franchise which is now worth millions of dollars. His franchise is now the biggest seller in the world and he is the only person to have built a franchise that has helped him make the most money.
He’s the only one I know who has achieved this. I know because I’ve heard other people say they are too young to be successful in franchising. Well, thanks to my friend, I can tell you why someone who is young to be successful will always be successful. And you should, too.
This is what entrepreneurs are famous for. They have a business that makes a lot of money, but they are also the ones who are willing to take a chance on something that might fail. It’s a common thing that entrepreneurs do when they enter a new business or start their own franchise. They take the high road and put themselves in the best position possible to succeed. And that’s exactly what he has done.
The latest in our annual “what do I want to be when I grow up?” series, the latest from the international business consulting firm, MBO Global Business School, is a short one called, “I want to be a multinational business consultant”. The premise is that there are lots of options, from starting your own company to starting a franchise; but a lot of people who say they want to be a consultant are actually going to a business school.
For the record, MBO isn’t the only business school that does this; there are other business schools that offer international business consulting. With that said, I’m not sure I would trust a business school that doesn’t offer one of these as a career path.
I have no problem with a business school that has international programs, I just find this one to be a little suspicious. It could be due to the fact that multinationals themselves are a bit different from the typical business school. International consulting firms and franchises are two different things. A lot of franchise companies are actually businesses that are bought out by multinationals, so it could be that they are starting to lose touch with the way they made their money.
That’s probably an understatement. To many multinationals, a business is just a business. If they want to run one, they typically choose a country that’s like-minded, or a world that they’re used to living and working in. International consulting firms and franchises, to a big extent, are those kinds of companies. I think this is a good thing and I’m glad we have someone who can write about international consulting firms and franchises.
