The first time I started studying marketing, I was so nervous that I’d fall asleep after class and miss my bus.
It’s not like I’m the only person with problems sleeping. I’ve got a lot of things to learn about marketing, which is why I wanted to talk to a professional before I start practicing.
With marketing, you can have a good job and a great life and still have a lot of work to do every day.
For years Ive thought a lot about the fact that marketing was the one part of my life that I didn’t get to do everything that I wanted to. I always dreamed of being a corporate executive, but I ended up doing a lot of volunteer work instead. It’s very frustrating when you spend your time doing things you don’t enjoy and you never get to do all that you want.
And it’s not just companies that you can do the work you want. You can also do what you want to do with a lot less effort. That is, if you want to be a writer. You can take some time off from your regular job (and in many cases, your regular life), and write full-time. As with any career, you need to do the work you want to do, but not doing it will take you out of the realm of possibility.
While I think the concept of working a normal job and then taking a full-time writing job is a little silly, it exists, and is a great option for those who want to do something different from what they do regularly. We tend to look outside of our normal comfort zone, so we can take time to be creative and write a new book, for example, or start a side hustle or become a professional writer.
I can’t really say if I’m the only one who doesn’t think the normal job job is the right choice, but it seems like the people who end up taking part-time jobs are the ones who aren’t sure they want to do it full-time. The people who get hired as writers are the ones who aren’t sure they want to do it full-time, so it’s not a huge shocker what those career paths end up being like.
I dont know what it is but I feel like I have a lot more faith in a normal job than a career in marketing. In my opinion you can always make an honest living as a writer or a professional.
Its funny, but most of the jobs Ive come across that I cant imagine myself working in are mostly full-time positions. I dont know what I would do if I werent working. I guess the trick is to figure out what you want to do and get a job thats right for you. For me, it would be a very interesting job.
If you’re not writing fiction or essays, you can always sell your services as a marketer. You can blog or do social media marketing. You can write articles on specific topics or write for blogs. You can build a portfolio in a specific niche or just sell yourself on the internet, which is also a good way to make a living.
