I have been applying to marketing internships in California for as long as I can remember. I have been in the industry for 3 years, but I have started my own business, got my GED, and am currently working on my H.S. Degree. While I’ve been in the industry for 3 years in a row, I am only applying to marketing internships for the past 4 months.
I think I hear most of the internships I apply for have a minimum 2 year commitment. I also hear that there are a lot of places that will not only hire you, but will help you start your own business. I have applied for about half of the places I applied for and they all said they were looking for more information about my background. I think that is a pretty good indication that they are looking for a long term commitment.
I applied to six of the schools I applied to, but only two of those schools have made it to my list. I don’t know why. I was not told that they have already taken applications or that the schools did not have enough applicants. I just got the email saying I had been rejected from each one. I did get the information that some of them were looking for more information about my background and some of them were looking for more information about my previous experience.
It’s not always easy to find out if an internship is right for you. You might have to do some poking around, which is a lot of fun. But if it’s right for you, you will get more than a little thrill.
You will get more than a little thrill. You will also get a bunch of great advice about what you can do in the next few months to get the most out of your internship. The good stuff comes in the form of a stack of resumes, cover letters, and interview tips. If you’re looking for more detail, it’s at www.internshipscalifornia.com.
The good stuff: You need to be super serious about it, and do your research. I like to take a deep breath before I look at resumes. I don’t want to miss anything, and I don’t want to waste time by thinking about things that I don’t need to worry about.
The last few months have been somewhat stressful for me. Ive been working at my internship for the last couple of weeks, and Ive been doing a lot of my own research. Ive been interviewing lots of good companies and doing lots of writing of my own. So I think I have a good idea of what I want to do, but I dont know if I want to be an intern yet. I want to be an intern in marketing in california.
I think anyone who says they dont need to worry about things they dont really care about should just not apply. You are very likely going to get a job that you really do need to be doing. If you don’t then try to do something that you do really need to be doing. If you dont like internships then you should try something else. I really dont know what the right internship is for you.
I work at a marketing firm and I have an internship lined up next week. I will be in Cali for about a week. I am very excited about it. I am currently studying for my bachelors and I want to continue doing that.
Okay, so here’s the thing: the internships you have are probably not the ones that you will find yourself applying for. A lot of the companies you get internships from are looking for people who show up for meetings on the spot. If you are applying to internships, keep in mind that it’s a lot more effort than just going to the office when you’re supposed to be working from there.
