A dollar is really just a dollar. A thousand dollar bill is really just a thousand dollar bill. A number is a number. Every number or dollar that is made or spent has an inherent value. There is no such thing as a dollar that isn’t worth some number of dollars.
I think this is a really good point. We’re starting to realize that the “money” that we use for purchases is just another system, albeit one that we make for ourselves. As more and more of our purchases are made with our own money, we’re starting to realize that the system we make for ourselves doesn’t have to be “fair.
We are just using the same number of dollars to purchase more and more things, so it kinda makes sense that all of these same dollars would be used for purchasing each other. This system is called “diy-numbers.” It is a system where you purchase a single product at a single price and then can buy each item at any price you want. It is similar to a “discount” or “special” card.
The basic idea behind this concept is that if you have enough money, you can buy all of the products at the same price (if you need more than one they are only the same price). You can then combine them to create a single, larger number. You can then use that number to buy any other item you’d like.

They sell the balloons already, and they get to go to the store and buy them. It’s another example of the Internet becoming a store of all kinds.
