Some people, if they are able, will look at their body as a tool for the expression of their emotions. Some people, if they are unable, will take out some kind of an armor around their body which makes them seem menacing, scary, or dangerous.

In a similar vein, people have built a great deal of self-awareness into their bodies. You can touch and look at your own body as if you were looking at someone else, but you can also look at your body the way you would look at an object like a painting or a sculpture. In other words, you can look at yourself as if you were looking at someone else, but you can also look at yourself the way you would look at an object like a sculpture.
