I was recently contacted by a college student that was trying to save up money for a costume for her senior year. She wanted to look like a robber and dressed up as one.
The costume was created in just three nights, but I wanted to share it with you anyway because I don’t want you to waste money on something that just looks like a costume.
I don’t know how to do it. I’m a college student in a tiny college town in the Midwest. I would have to hire someone to do it, and I’m not talking about paying a professional like a costume designer. I’m talking about a cheap costume maker who will be able to make it for cheaper than I would pay.
The costume is a simple black top and a gray vest with a belt and a pair of jeans. It comes with a pair of black gloves and a pair of black ski boots. The gloves are great to prevent the costume from being damaged when thrown through a window or stuck in a closet. The pants are a simple black skirt and black boots.
The point is to make sure that your costume is both cheap and also has that sense of style. The thing is that many people would be perfectly willing to spend $50 on a costume but be stuck with the wrong look. The perfect costume, on the other hand, has no need to be expensive and has a sense of style that works for everyone.
Well in a nutshell, the new college robber costume is a black skirt and black boots. The point in this costume is to avoid the problem of “getting caught in a bad situation”. The skirt is made of stretch material and the boots will provide maximum traction in tight spaces. We used a stretch fabric because the jeans that we used for our other costume were too tight. So the skirt was made with stretch threads and the boots with a stretch material.
As for the clothing itself, you have a skirt that can fit all of the pants you own and a top that you can wear with any other top.

Thats the best way to explain it, but its a stretch fabric. That means that once you pull the stretch fabric under your legs, that its still in place and will be tight. You’ll need to sew up your shirt though to make it work.
